Released American Paedophile from Kamiti Faces New Charges: Accused of Defiling 3-Year-Old in Athi River
Terry Ray Krieger, an American-origin alleged child molester, is once again before the court this month on charges that he defiled a three-year-old girl at Great Wall Gardens in Athi River.
Following his detention on November 9, 2023, Ray was subsequently arraigned before the Mavoko Law Courts on November 10, 2023. Following his confession, he was detained.
He appeared in court today, November 21, and was denied parole by trial magistrate Barbra Ojoo.
Ray is a fugitive of justice, according to Ojoo, which is a strong reason to deny him parole. Additionally, she mentioned that sentences of up to five years are reasonable in severity given the accused’s prior criminal record.
The court rejected the defense’s claim that he is an elderly man in urgent need of medical attention, stating that the defendant had not provided any evidence to support his illness.
Ray, who was arraigned at the Mavoko Law Courts on November 10, entered a not-guilty plea to the allegations of sexual assault and unlawful entry into the country.

In advance of a hearing on November 27, the case will be discussed.
The defendant, who was previously convicted of pedophilia and sentenced to fifty years in prison on December 2, 2014, was found guilty of distributing and capturing videos of juveniles in nude and compromising positions.
Ray, who had been incarcerated at the Kamiti GK Prison since November 2022, was released on parole by Justice J.M. Bwonong’a.
“In these circumstances, this court finds that to order a re-trial of the appellant would not only be unfair but oppressive as well* ruled Justice Bwonwong’a as he set the American national free.
Between May 2013 and October 2014, Ray admitted to disseminating explicit images of juvenile children in Kenya via electronic media. As a result, Ray was incarcerated.
