PSG star Hakimi accused of rape after inviting woman home during a family holiday

A player for PARIS Saint-Germain has been charged with rape after allegedly inviting a woman to his home while his wife and children were on vacation.

After the alleged attack on February 25, French prosecutors are investigating the Moroccan-born player Achraf Hakimi.

This weekend, a 23-year-old woman told police she had been raped by a PSG player, but she did not wish to file a formal complaint.

She told officers she only wanted to “make a statement of rape,” but prosecutors are now pursuing the case personally.

They initiated an investigation due to the gravity of the allegations and Hakimi’s notoriety.

According to Le Parisien, the 24-year-old defender started communicating with the woman on Instagram on January 16.

His accuser claims that when the football star arrived at his residence, he began kissing her on the mouth and removing her clothing.

She claimed he kissed her breasts despite her protests and then digitally penetrated her against her will.

The woman told police that she was able to escape after kicking Hakimi with her foot, after which she texted a friend to pick her up.

He has not yet responded to the accusations.

The Moroccan star met his future wife Hiba in 2018 when he was playing for Dortmund and she was relocating from Madrid.

She gained prominence in the Spanish crime drama El Principe and, like Hakimi, she is a devout Muslim.

In October, as the World Cup approached, they appeared in a stunning photoshoot for Vogue Arabia.

Hakimi was given credit for helping his national team reach the 2022 tournament’s semi-finals.
