KUCCPS Introduces KMTC Courses: Apply Now!

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) announced the first application for Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) courses on its platform on Saturday, July 22.

This is the first time applications for medical courses have been integrated into the KUCCPS systems.

The application window for the September 2023 semester will conclude on August 4, 2023, for those who are interested.

“KMTC courses are now available for enrollment on the KUCCPS student portal. The application deadline for the induction in September 2023 is August 4, 2023. Distribute the news.

“Applicants must have completed the KCSE examination between 2013 and 2022,” reads a portion of the statement.

How to Utilize

To apply for any position, please visit www.students.kuccps.net.

Log in using the student’s credentials and apply for the desired course via the application portal.

Some of the available courses include certificates and diplomas.


Courses leading to a certificate consist of Medical Engineering, Health Records and Information Technology, Orthopedic Trauma Medicine, Community Health, Nutrition, and Dietetics.

One can enroll for Diploma programs in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Radiography and Imaging, Health Counseling, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Community Health, among others.

The website also lists the new Emergency Medical Technician Diploma course.

To qualify for a Diploma program at KMTC, applicants must have earned a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) average grade of C, as well as specific grades in specific subjects.

The minimum required grades are a C in English or Kiswahili, a C in Biology, and a C- in Chemistry. In addition, candidates must have earned a grade of C- or higher in either Mathematics, Physics, or Physical Sciences.

The specific entry requirements for certificate courses at KMTC vary by program of interest. Applicants for a certificate in Public Health, for instance, must have an average KCSE grade of C-.

To be eligible for the Nutrition and Dietetics certificate program, applicants must have an average grade of D+.
