    Kenya Power Announces Planned Outages Across Nairobi, Kakamega, Nyamira, and Meru on Wednesday

    Kenya Power Announces Planned Outages Across Nairobi, Kakamega, Nyamira, and Meru on Wednesday

    Kenya Power has announced planned power outages across four counties for Wednesday.

    The company indicated that these outages are necessary for network maintenance.

    Power will be interrupted from 8 am to 5 pm in various locations across Nairobi, Kakamega, Nyamira, and Meru counties.

    In Nairobi, power interruptions are scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm. Affected areas include 2nd and 3rd Parklands Avenue, Kusi Lane, Ngao Road, Thika Road, Ramanda, Muthaiga North Road, Utalii Village, NYS, NIS, KISM, the Survey of Kenya, and GSU.

    In the Western Region, outages will occur from 8 am to 3 pm. Areas affected include Wildor School, K. Ochieng Centre, Kausi Market, Nyamonge, Tom Owuor, Mayienya Secondary School, Chiga Market, Obumba School, Kasese Market, Masawa, Kasarani, Hera Church, Rweya, and Bungu.

    Kakamega will experience power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm in locations such as Lutaso Market, Nancy Academy, Mukhweso Junction, Navakholo Market, and Dorofu Market.

    In South Nyanza, power interruptions are planned from 9 am to 4 pm. Affected areas are Kotieno, Makaka, Seka, Kamser Seka, Rambira, Karabondi, Kajiei, Rakwaro, Osodo, Kobala, Burlum, and Konyach.

    Nyamira will see power interruptions from 9 am to 4 pm in Sanganyi, Kebirigo, Makairo, Sironga, Konate, Miruka, and Nyamira Town.

    In Embu, power outages will take place from 9 am to 5 pm, affecting Kivaa Market, Kengen Hydro Plaza, Kyaani Market, Kyaani Primary, Kanguu, Masaku, Ngetani, Kyangosi, Nunguni, and Kathui Primary.
