Fake Cop’s Strange Call: Missing Mukuru Kwa Njenga Woman’s Family Speaks Out

The family from Mukuru Kwa Njenga, Nairobi County, made a plea for assistance in locating their missing relative, Wilkister Blessing. They explained that despite their efforts, they had been unable to find her.

According to the family, Wilkister Blessing left home to meet a friend in Thika on June 19 but did not return.

A friend from their community shared that she became concerned when Blessing did not come back after her visit. She began searching for her and tried calling her phone. A man claiming to be a police officer answered, stating that Blessing had been arrested and was being held at a police station in Thika, Kiambu County.

“Hallo… Blessing ako uku ndani. I think aliwekwa uku juzi ama jana, ameshikwa.. ako apa Thika police (Hello, Blessing is in the cell and I think she was arrested either yesterday or the day before. She is here at Thika Police station),” the man was heard on the call.

Upon reaching the station, she learned that the victim was absent, and the person who answered the phone wasn’t familiar to them. This raised further concerns, prompting her to contact Blessing’s parents.

“He did not identify himself and the police told me that the man’s voice was not familiar or that of an officer,” the friend revealed.

The relatives searched for her extensively, visiting police stations across the region without success.

The discovery of bodies at the Kware dumpsite filled the family with dread.

While the family remains optimistic that Blessing is not among the women found at the dumpsite, they anxiously await confirmation from investigators and medical professionals.

The relatives of Blessing are urging the police to speed up the investigations and assist in locating her.

Outside the City Mortuary, families with missing loved ones have gathered, hoping to identify them among the bodies recovered from the dump site.

These families strongly denounced the brutal killings and demanded the arrest of all responsible individuals to ensure justice. Collins Jomaisi has been apprehended as the primary suspect.

As the investigation led by the DCI progresses, the recovery of bodies continues. The results of the autopsies are still pending release.
