Ex-MP Swarup Mishra’s Woes Worsen As Auctioneers Now Go For His Properties
Dr. Swarup Mishra, the immediate former Kesses Member of Parliament, faces mounting challenges as auctioneers prepare to sell off his various properties located in Uasin Gishu County.
The scheduled auction marks another setback for Mishra, as it follows closely on the heels of disruptions at his Mediheal hospital in Eldoret due to financial constraints.
Jomuki Auctioneers have set a date for the sale of various parcels of land, including his opulent residence in Elgon View, for an auction to take place on Tuesday in Eldoret town.
The auction is expected to include a diverse selection of Mishra’s properties under Mediheal Group Limited (owned by Swarup Ranjan Mishra and Pallavi Jodhpur Rajasthan).
These properties encompass different plots of land, such as 0.9 hectares in Blossom, Kiambaa within Kesses division, 10 acres at Ngeria center, 4 acres and another 10 acres in Chepkigen, and parcels of 1.07 acres and 1.086 acres in the Elgon View, Greenvale area.

The financial downturn at Mediheal Hospital was further elaborated on during a visit by the Parliamentary Committee on Health.
The management attributed the hospital’s decline to the withdrawal of medical coverage by the government and the state’s failure to pay NHIF funds to the hospital.
This withdrawal and lack of payment have significantly impacted the hospital’s ability to maintain its operations and services, leading to the suspension of services at the Eldoret facility.
The upcoming auction represents a critical moment for Mishra, who now faces the loss of his properties amid ongoing financial difficulties.
It remains unclear how the auction and its outcomes will impact Mishra’s future, but the situation underscores the significant challenges he faces in managing his finances and business ventures.
