Why Morara Kebaso Has Cancelled His Mt Kenya Tour
Lawyer David Morara Kebaso has called off his scheduled visit to the Mt Kenya region, where he was set to assess halted government projects.
On Thursday, September 5, Morara announced that he had to cancel the visit over safety concerns.
According to him, he received information that his tour, initially planned for Friday, September 6, would be compromised by government agents.
Morara stated that he will reveal his plans soon.
“For security reasons, I’ve canceled my tour of stalled projects in the Mount Kenya region, where public funds have been misappropriated. The tour was to begin tomorrow morning. Intelligence reports suggest state operatives will infiltrate the tour, posing as well-wishers. I will announce my next course of action,” Morara said.

The lawyer has gained recognition across Kenya for his nationwide tours, inspecting government projects and exposing their state.
Additionally, Morara stands out for imitating President William Ruto’s style and mannerisms, wearing Kaunda suits and often filming his videos atop vehicles, similar to Ruto’s signature move.
On Wednesday, Morara revealed that he has purchased a customized Toyota Land Cruiser Prado TX for his countrywide civic education initiative.
He posted photos of the car online and requested recommendations for a graphic designer to help brand the vehicle.
“Graphic designers, your time has come to do the Lord’s work. We’ve acquired a vehicle for mounting the public address system and need a designer for branding and wrapping,” Morara wrote alongside the images.
