Two Children Accused of Murdering 12-Year-Old Schoolgirl in German Forest

A YOUNG girl was allegedly stabbed to death and abandoned in a forest by two of her friends following an argument.

Two 12- and 13-year-old girls are said to have confessed to the murder after the body of a 12-year-old was discovered near a bicycle path.

The young girl was brutally murdered by her two friends.
Unknown is the motive for her untimely demise.

The alarm was raised by her parents after she visited a friend and failed to return home.

The gruesome murder shook the community of Freudenberg, Germany, located fifty miles east of Cologne.

According to prosecutor Mario Mannweiler, the victim, Louise, died of massive blood loss due to multiple stab wounds.

There has been no discovery of a weapon, and the victim displayed no signs of sexual assault.

Mr. Mannweiler stated, “We must assume that two children from the victim’s social circle committed the crime.”

The two accused girls have been detained by a youth welfare office.

In Germany, the age of criminal responsibility is 14, so the two girls who stand accused are under the age limit.

Hendrik Wuest, the governor of North Rhine-Westphalia, where Freudenberg is located, was appalled by the murder, he said.

He stated that North Rhine-Westphalia is in mourning. It is unfathomable and intolerable that children are capable of committing such heinous acts.”

The case eerily resembles the 2014 Slender Man Killings, in which a girl was stabbed 19 times.

Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weir, both 12 years old, believed that a fictional character named Slender Man had ordered them to kill Payton Leutner, also 12 years old.

It is said that the supernatural creature stalks children and is frequently depicted leading them into the woods.

Morgan admitted at their 2017 trial that she stabbed her friend “everywhere” and, sobbing, told the court, “Anissa said she couldn’t do it, so I had to.”

Despite their youth at the time of the crime, they were tried as adults, and Geyser was sentenced to forty years in a secure psychiatric institution, while Weier received a sentence of twenty-five years.

Payton is enrolled in college and intends to enter the medical field, in part due to the trauma she has endured.

The police searched for her before discovering her body in a forest.
The next day, her body was discovered.
