Tragedy in Rongai: KWS Ranger Allegedly Kills Man Before Taking Own Life in Nightclub Shooting

Authorities are currently investigating an incident where a KWS ranger reportedly took his own life after allegedly fatally shooting a man early Saturday in Rongai Town, Kajiado North Sub County.

According to reports, the ranger entered a Rongai nightclub during the early hours of Saturday and allegedly shot a man before turning the gun on himself.

The nightclub is located in the Tumaini Area, along Mugis Road.

A police report from Ongata Rongai Police Station details that the ranger entered the venue, demanded its closure, and instructed patrons to lie face down.

He then allegedly shot one individual three times—in the back and head—before ordering everyone to remain in their positions until morning.

Insiders familiar with the incident said that the ranger had a dispute with the deceased the previous evening, around 8 p.m.
