Three dead in Baringo accident
Tragedy struck in Koibatek, Baringo County, as three lives were lost in a harrowing accident. The victims, aged 19, 18, and 17, faced a fatal collision along the Nakuru-Eldoret road in the Kerema area.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Monday involving a Toyota Porte Saloon car and a truck, plunging the scene into chaos.
Regrettably, two individuals met their demise instantly as the collision unfolded. The third victim, a 17-year-old boy, succumbed to injuries while en route to Timboroa Health Centre.
Eyewitnesses recounted the horrific moment when the Saloon car veered out of control, ultimately crashing into the oncoming truck bound for Eldoret.

Amongst the survivors, the 55-year-old driver of the Saloon car suffered injuries to both legs, while a 16-year-old passenger sustained a deep cut on the forehead.
Prompt medical attention is being administered to the survivors currently receiving treatment at Timboroa Health Centre.
Authorities are diligently investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic accident, seeking to uncover the sequence of events leading to this devastating loss of life.
