House of Horror: Chilling Details Uncovered in Torture and Murder of Wells Fargo HR Manager

Detectives have made further headway in the investigation into the brutal murder of Wells Fargo HR Manager Willis Ayieko after uncovering the house where he endured torture on Thursday, November 7.

In a report accessed by Kenyans.co.ke, authorities confirmed the capture of an additional suspect linked to the murder. The individual was flushed out of a hideout in Bondo Sub-County.

Following a crime scene reconstruction with one of the suspects already in custody, detectives were directed to a house in Luanda Doho, Kisa East, Kakamega County, where Ayieko is suspected to have been tortured before his death.

Ayieko’s body was later found less than 400 meters from this location.

Earlier in the week, authorities arrested another suspect in Kisumu, a bodaboda rider thought to have assisted in transporting the primary suspectโ€”currently detainedโ€”to the spot where Ayieko was abducted.

The Wells Fargo HR Manager disappeared on Friday, October 21, with his handcuffed body tragically discovered a week later by a stream in Gem, Siaya County.

Struggling with grief, Ayieko’s brother, Aggrey Onyango, expressed anguish over his brother’s suffering, questioning the motive behind such a cruel end.

“Who wanted my brother dead badly enough to hire someone to do this? My brotherโ€™s death was filled with unimaginable pain,” he shared.

At a heartfelt funeral service held on Thursday afternoon at All Saints’ Cathedral, loved ones and friends celebrated Ayieko as a sophisticated and generous individual.

His wife, Esther Wagumba, reflected on her husbandโ€™s lasting influence on many lives, praising his selfless and admirable character.

“I will miss you deeply. You made everyone feel welcome in our home. You were patient, kind, and held in high regard,” she shared.

“Getting a gift for you was challengingโ€ฆespecially clothing, so I avoided it, as your taste was very high-end,” she added.

The family announced that Ayieko’s remains would be flown from Nairobi on Friday, November 8, for a burial set on Saturday, November 9, at his home in Central Alego, Siaya County.
