This four-minute pop song marks the first collaboration between Shakira and Argentinian producer and DJ Bizarrap.
Shakira joins a long list of Latin artists who have broken YouTube records, including J Balvin, Luis Fonsi, and Daddy Yankee.
It’s not her first song about a breakup; Monotonia was released three months ago, but it was more of a heartbreak song than a revenge song.

She considers herself to be “worth two 22-year-olds” and compares the relationship to trading “a Ferrari for a [Renault] Twingo” and a “Rolex for a Casio” in Spanish.\

The Colombian singer also mentions her run-in with Spanish authorities, who claim she owes €14.5 million (£12.8 million) in back taxes.
In the song, Shakira appears to say that Pique abandoned her while all of this was going on, with her in-laws as neighbors.
She criticizes his workout technique too – singing “lots of time at the gym, but your brain needs a little work too”.
Gerard Pique hasn’t responded to the song on social media, but he has been talking about his new seven-a-side project, King’s League.
When the couple divorced in June of last year, they issued a statement saying they were focusing on co-parenting their children Milan, nine, and Sasha, seven.
