Relative Demands Sacking of Teachers After Racist Attack

As police continue to investigate the harrowing brawl outside Thomas Knyvett College in Ashford, Surrey, a relative of one of the victims is demanding that the school take the most severe action possible.

A relative of one of the victims of a ‘racist attack’ outside a school has demanded the dismissal of the teachers who allegedly allowed the horrifying incident to occur.

Online outrage was sparked by disturbing footage of a schoolgirl appearing to be brutally assaulted on the street, prompting police to launch an investigation.

The police revealed today that two people were injured in the brutal attack on Monday afternoon, in which a woman was heard encouraging the teen attackers.

Four individuals, including a 39-year-old woman, two 11-year-old girls, and a 16-year-old, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted racially motivated serious bodily harm. A man aged 43 was also detained.

According to a relative of one of the victims, teachers could be seen in the video doing little to diffuse the situation.

The relative told the Mirror at a protest outside Thomas Knyvett College in Ashford, Surrey, where the assault occurred, that she wants the staff fired and that her heart sank when she saw the horrifying social media footage.

The clip depicts the girl’s pulled-out braids strewn across the road. A relative stated: “She’s 15. She is in her final year of school and was assisting a friend.

“Nobody from the school returned her to us. We had to travel to her location and bring her home. They permitted her to visit a friend, after which she used her friend’s phone to contact us.

“She stated, “No one helped me; everyone was laughing at me.” One of the teachers laughed at my floor-length braids.

“She had nine braids removed from her scalp, and if we look closely, we can see the dots where they were removed.

“I pondered, “Who’s coming, and who’s going to stop it?”

“As I observed her head being pulled in all directions and cars stopping, I wondered, ‘Who’s jumping out of that car?'”

She added regarding the girl’s recovery: “She was disoriented. Very sad. I believe that her morale has been bolstered by the fact that she knows she is not alone.

“It’s one of those things that, when you see it on social media, cause you so much pain. Even so, even if it is not at your doorstep, we continue to feel the same way. It’s upsetting.”

She now demands action, stating: “I want them to remove the teachers depicted in the video and to present us with their anti-racism policy.

“What do you do when you continue to receive reports about these children? W’do you do? What are your plans in response?

“In this neighborhood, this is not a significant concern. There are insufficient black people.

“When I asked him (school principal Richard Beeson) in a meeting, “do you know what hurt me the most in that video? “, he replied, “No.” I was wondering who will stop it.

“Eventually, I told him, ‘When you walked into the shot, you did so casually, and you even allowed one more punch,'”

Richard Beeson, the school’s headmaster, issued the following statement on Twitter: “We can assure you that we are taking all necessary measures to ensure this isolated incident is dealt with and that student safety is our top priority.”

Inspector Maxine Cilia, Spelthorne’s Borough Commander, stated, “The video footage of this incident is shocking, and we understand the concern it has caused throughout the community.

“We will not tolerate this level of violence, which should make every schoolchild feel safe as they move through the community. We are providing specialized assistance to the victim, who has returned home after receiving medical care for her injuries sustained in this traumatic assault.

“Officers are diligently collecting as much evidence as possible to build a solid case.

“Parents, students, and the general public will observe increased police patrols today in the area surrounding Thomas Knyvett College.

“We encourage you to approach the officers if you have any questions or concerns, as they are there to engage with and reassure the community.
