Pauline Njoroge: Uhuru Didn’t Fund Raila’s Dubai Trip- He’s 12,000km Away

Blogger Pauline Njoroge has refuted claims that ex-president Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga are having a meeting in Dubai.

Is Uhuru Kenyatta in Dubai?

A daily newspaper reported that Uhuru and Raila were meeting in Dubai to discuss a proposed agreement involving the ODM leader and President William Ruto.

Pauline, a close associate of the former president, responded to the story by accusing government officials of fabricating lies about the meeting between Uhuru and Raila.

“In the last few weeks, UDA bloggers have been claiming that Uhuru is in Dubai, and I have seen there is a sponsored story on the same in one of the dailies today,” Pauline said.

Pauline revealed that the former president is actually in the United States, not in Dubai while denying the allegations.

“Uhuru is about 12,000 km away from Dubai and last time I checked, there was no place called Dubai in the U.S. where the former president has been residing in the last few weeks,” she stated.

Did Uhuru sponsor Raila Odinga’s Dubai trip?

Pauline dismissed the claims that Uhuru financed the former prime minister’s Dubai trip.

Pauline emphasized that the ODM leader, being an experienced politician, can independently afford trips to Dubai for both personal and business matters.

“Raila traveling to Dubai has got nothing to do with Uhuru. It’s crazy for anyone to imagine that the former Prime Minister has no mind of his own to make his own independent decisions, or business of his own to attend to out there and he can only be traveling to meet Uhuru, or that he does not have money of his own to travel to Dubai and the trip must have been sponsored by someone else,” she added.

What MCA Alai said about Uhuru, Raila’s alleged Dubai meeting

Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai recently accused former President Uhuru Kenyatta of trying to sway the political actions of ODM leader Raila Odinga.

On July 19, Deputy President William Ruto announced a portion of his Cabinet members following reports that Raila was hesitant to join the unity government.

Alai stated that the former president has been actively working to block a potential alliance between Raila and Ruto.

The outspoken ODM MCA suggested that Uhuru and Raila are currently in Dubai discussing the prospects of forming a national unity government.
