Pastor Organising Benny Hinn Crusade at Nyayo Stadium Abducted, Striped Naked & Robbed Cash
Officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have apprehended three individuals who are alleged to have kidnapped and robbed a pastor in the vicinity of Nyayo Stadium on Thursday, February 22nd.
As per the DCI, the individual, serving as a pastor at Christ Church, was en route to a restaurant close to the venue. This followed a substantial amount of time dedicated to coordinating the Benny Hinn crusade set for the upcoming Saturday.
The clergyman told the authorities that he was suddenly confronted and forcefully placed into a parked sedan, where he was undressed, and photographs were taken of him.
During the incident, the thieves compelled him to disclose his mobile money PIN, warning that they would share the pictures on social media if he didn’t cooperate.
Under pressure, the clergyman sent Ksh55,000 to the suspect’s mobile device, and subsequently, they released him without taking any of his possessions.
“Responding to this report which was made at Nyayo Police Post, the DCI team analysed the available forensic tips which led them to Village Apartment Hse No F2 within Syokimau where the first suspect was arrested.

The individual was apprehended along Katani Road near Syokimau.
The police held the three individuals at Langata Police Station until their scheduled court appearance on Monday.
