It has recently come to light that Pastor Ezekiel Odero used his vast estate to fund charitable causes.

The founder of the New Life Prayer Centre and Church had enrolled a large number of needy students in his scholarship program.

The recipients of the cleric’s scholarship are uncertain of their return to school as classes begin next week due to his arrest.

Counties of Homa Bay Pastor Ezekiel Odero’s trials tend to take a toll on many people, including the school-aged children he sponsors.

The founder of the New Life Prayer Centre and Church used his vast fortune to fund a full scholarship program for needy but intelligent students.

Some of the recipients are from Ezekiel’s birthplace on Ngodhe Island in Hoda Bay County.

Following his arrest last week, a portion of the parents of the students in the preacher’s program have expressed their concern and uncertainty.

The parents are uncertain of where they will obtain the funds necessary to send their children to their respective institutions of learning as the school year approaches.

“Upon his return, he settled all of our school fee debts. “We do not know what we will do now that schools are opening,” said one.

In addition to educating the needy, Ezekiel constructed homes for the poor near his birthplace.

His countrymen believe he is a victim of framing. Given that he has never condoned such heinous crimes as money laundering, murder, or child abuse.

The islanders of Ngodhe believe that the truth will soon be revealed, which will liberate one of their own.

In the interim, Ezekiel is scheduled to be arraigned at the Shanzu Law Courts. On Tuesday, May 2 in the morning.

The court will rule on a petition filed by the prosecution. Which requested that the preacher be detained for an additional thirty days while investigators continue their work.

The capture of Ezekiel occurred on April 27.
