Ndindi Nyoro Speaks Out After Removal as Budget Committee Chair
Kiharu Member of Parliament, Ndindi Nyoro, has spoken about his recent removal as the Chairperson of the Budget and Appropriations Committee in the National Assembly.
Speaking to the press on Tuesday, March 18, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Nyoro stated that he does not know the reason behind his dismissal.
The MP revealed that despite being replaced a week ago, no one from the coalition leadership informed him of the decision or provided an explanation.
Learned of Dismissal from Newspapers
Nyoro disclosed that he first learned about his removal from the newspapers. He said that no one reached out to discuss or explain the decision.
โI do not know why I was replaced. I am saying this in good faith. I want to set the record straightโno one from our coalitionโs leadership has ever called me about this position,โ Nyoro stated.
“I held this position to serve Kenyans, so I am answerable. I read about my removal in the newspapers just like you did. That is the truth,” he added.
Grateful for the Opportunity
Despite the abrupt removal, Nyoro expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve as the Budget and Appropriations Committee Chairperson. He noted that the role allowed him to gain valuable experience and knowledge.
Nyoroโs dismissal has sparked discussions in political circles, with many wondering about the reasons behind the move. However, the lawmaker remains focused on serving his constituents in Kiharu.
