Mwangaza Impeachment Trial Disrupted Briefly by Shocking Screams, Identity of Woman Revealed(Video)
The identity of the woman who screamed and disrupted the ongoing hearing of Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza’s impeachment was revealed to be the mother of Daniel Muthiani Bernard alias Sniper.
The mother, who was inside the Senate chambers, made a sudden and searing scream while a lawyer was directly examining Dickson Munene in connection with the impeachment motion.
Initially, a commotion ensued before the scream grew louder compelling Senate Speaker Amason Kingi to command the house’s sergeant at arms to handle the matter.
Several security officers, shortly after, were seen rushing towards the source of the noise but what triggered her to scream remains a mystery.
A source at the Parliament Buildings later confirmed to Gossipa2z.com that the distressed woman was Sniper’s mother.

When she took the stand on Monday, however, the governor pleaded not guilty and is awaiting the decision by the Senate when the issue reaches the voting stage.
This is the third time the impeachment motion against the governor has reached the Senate having survived two previous attempts in 2022 and 2023.
Sniper, on the other hand, was found dead in December last year with many believing that his death was politically motivated.
Ealier this year, Interior CS Kithure Kindiki revealed that Sniper, a political blogger, was lured into a deadly trap by an aide to the Governor.
“On the second of December, 2023, the deceased was at his home when he received a call from one (name withheld), who requested to meet with him at Meru town under the guise of attending a meeting with the governor of Meru County to resolve their differences,” Kindiki stated.
“Upon arrival at Meru Town, he was abducted and driven to Mutonga River in an area called Chiakariga in Tharaka Nithi County. He was killed and his body thrown into River Mutonga at a place called Mutonga Bridge, where it remained undiscovered for several days.”
His body was discovered on December 6.
