Murkomen Clears Air Over Being Arrested & Carrying 210 Million Dollars in Dubai
Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has refuted allegations of being apprehended in Dubai with $210 million.
During an interview on the Obinna Show, Murkomen clarified that he was in Kenya when the rumors of his supposed arrest surfaced.
He emphasized the impracticality of physically carrying such a large sum of money in a bag, suggesting that a pickup truck would be necessary to transport such an amount.
Murkomen noted that he has recently become a target of fake news, pointing out that no one has provided concrete evidence of the alleged arrest.
“No one has accused me of corruption. That amount would require three or four pickups of dollars. You’d need half a plane to carry that money. I was in Nairobi when they claimed I was arrested. Let’s be serious.
“These rumors are spread on social media by anonymous individuals. I’m accustomed to fake news,” he remarked.
