KPLC: Areas in 4 counties to experience power cuts on Friday
Kenya Power has announced scheduled power outages for specific regions in four counties this Friday.
Affected areas include Nairobi, Kakamega, Homa Bay, and Nyeri counties.
The planned outages will take place at different times throughout the day, starting from 8 am to 5 pm.
These interruptions are necessary to carry out essential system maintenance.
Nairobi
Certain areas in Nairobi, including Runda Mumwe East, sections of Eliud Mathu Road, Pan Africa Insurance, Eagle Park, Benin Drive, and Afana Road, will be without power from 9 am to 5 pm.

Kakamega
In Kakamega, the affected areas are Shianda KMTC, Ekero, Malakha, Shitoto, Lubinu, Amatia, Maraba, and Shianda Market.
Additionally, the interruption will affect Wachara, Rachar, Mbani, Ranen Mikumi, Nyarandi, Nyamogo, and Kalamindi in Homa Bay.
Homa Bay
Homa Bay County will experience power outages in areas such as Wachara, Rachar, Mbani, Ranen Mikumi, Nyarandi, Nyamogo, Kalamindi, and neighboring communities.
Nyeri
In Nyeri, power will be cut off from 8 am to 5 pm in locations including Kirigu Coffee Factory, Gatina Coffee Factory, Gakuyu Secondary School, Gatina Village, Mukangu Dispensary, Mukangu Market, Mukangu Coffee Factory, Safaricom and Airtel Boosters, and Mukangu Secondary School.
