    Kenya Power Schedules Wednesday Outages Across Nine Counties

    Kenya Power Schedules Wednesday Outages Across Nine Counties

    Kenya Power has announced planned power outages in select areas across nine counties on Wednesday.

    The power outage is expected to occur between 8 am and 5 pm in various parts of the nine counties.

    Counties affected include Nairobi, Kisii, Homa Bay, Migori, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Laikipia, Embu, and Garissa.

    Nairobi

    In Nairobi, power cuts are set to happen from 9 am to 5 pm.

    The affected areas include ICIPE Road, AIC Kasarani, KISE, and Bamboo East.

    Garden Estate: Power cuts in parts of Garden Estate will affect Mountain Mall, Blue Spring Hotel, Claret, Quiver, Homeland, and Tome Pole.

    School Lane: Areas impacted include School Lane, Bank of Africa, Lions Place, Muguga Green, and nearby customers.

    Mamlaka Road: Power interruptions from 9 am to 1 pm will affect State House Road, parts of Arboretum Drive, Riverside Drive, UoN Chiromo Campus, Dusit D2, Chiromo Mortuary, Prime Bank, and sections of Ring Road Westlands. Additionally, Chiromo University Hostels, Royal Apartments, Kolobot Drive, Taj Apartments, Confucius Institute, and Ring Road Kileleshwa will also be impacted, along with other locations like Delta Riverside, The Office Park, and Mzima Springs Rd.

    Other affected areas include One Riverside Drive, International Organization for Migration, Keystone Park, Riverside Paddocks, Riverside Lane, and multiple buildings like Strathmore School, German Embassy, and Uganda High Commission.

    Kisii

    Power cuts in Kisii are scheduled from 8 am to 4 pm.

    Affected areas include Nyamarambe Town, Nduru Boys, Nduru Girls, Gesonso, Nyakembene, Matangamano, Emesa, Nyabigena, Mochengo, and Nyamarambe Level 4 Hospital.

    Homa Bay

    Parts of Homa Bay will experience power outages between 9 am and 5 pm.

    Affected areas include Obera Boys, Kanyangasi, Magina Girls, and Lwanda Kawuor.

    Migori

    Migori will face power interruptions from 9 am to 4 pm.

    The affected areas include Migori Airstrip, Kefri, Nyanchabo, Masaba, Nyamamagagana, and more, covering locations such as Kehancha Town, St. Kizito, Maeta, Kegonga, and Ntimaru.

    Nyeri

    Power cuts in Nyeri are scheduled from 8 am to 5 pm.

    Impacted areas include Karura Market, Karura C/Fact, Karura Primary School, Eng. Maina, Gathumbi Village, and other locations like Kiandara Village, Shauri Moyo, and Magutu Secondary School.

    Kirinyaga

    Kirinyaga areas facing outages from 9 am to 4 pm include Kagio Market, Kandongu Market, parts of Sagana Town, and establishments like Rubis Petrol Station and Maya Hotel.

    Laikipia

    Laikipia will experience power outages from 9 am to 4.30 pm.

    Affected areas include the whole of Chumvi, Oltasha, Doldol Market, Olkinyei, and other nearby locations.

    Embu

    Power cuts in Embu are scheduled from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

    Areas like Runyenjes Town, Runyenjes Hospital, DCโ€™s Office, and several markets and schools will be affected.

    Other parts of Embu, like Ena Market and St. Mary Immaculate, will also experience outages between 9 am and 5 pm.

    Garissa

    Garissa will face power interruptions from 9 am to 4 pm.

    Affected areas include Garissa Town, Provincial Headquarters, Police Headquarters, Governorโ€™s Office, and nearby areas like Madogo and Bangale.
