On Sunday evening, President William Ruto began a significant state visit to the United States.
He is expected to land at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport around 5:30 p.m. This airport, the busiest in the world, handles approximately 100 million passengers annually.
The airport serves as a major connecting hub due to its location, within a two-hour flight of key U.S. cities.

President Ruto’s visit will start in Atlanta, Georgia. After checking into his hotel and attending a briefing, he will visit the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum to discuss democracy.
The visit will highlight not only diplomatic engagements but also the luxurious aircraft transporting him and his delegation across the Atlantic.
Reports indicate that President Ruto departed Kenya on a chartered jet from RoyalJet, a company based in the United Arab Emirates.
RoyalJet, established on May 4, 2003, is a joint venture between Abu Dhabi Aviation and the Presidential Flight (Abu Dhabi Amiri Flight).
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan chairs the airline.
President Ruto will travel on a Boeing Business Jet B737-77W, a recent addition to RoyalJet’s fleet, introduced in 2016, representing luxury in aviation.

The aircraft’s cabin can hold up to 34 passengers, offering a mix of VIP, business, and standard class seating.
