General Ogolla’s Daughter Sets Sights on Political Ambitions
Lorna Achieng Omondi, the daughter of the late CDF General Francis Ogolla, has shown interest in pursuing a political career.
In a recent Instagram Q&A, Lorna engaged with her followers, answering questions on various topics. Currently working in strategy and operations for Google Data Centres Equipment Supply Chain, she responded to inquiries about her potential political involvement.
When asked about considering a career in politics, Lorna, General Ogolla’s eldest daughter, stated that the thought had been on her mind for a while, but she was unsure about it.
She also discussed her weight maintenance strategy, highlighting her vegetarian lifestyle as a result of being vegan for 22 years.
Lorna shared plans to launch a podcast soon, expressing gratitude for the engaging interaction and promising more frequent discussions in the future.

Following the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the life of the Chief of Defence Forces, Lorna paid a heartfelt tribute to her father.
She praised General Ogolla as a “pursuer of excellence” and a “compassionate and effective leader and statesman.”
Lorna recounted his dedication to Kenyaโs security over four decades, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to service and protection.
“One day I will share the beautiful stories of how he led by example, not just by words,” Lorna wrote, reflecting on her father’s enduring legacy. “But today, I rush home to bid him farewell.”
Based in San Francisco, US, Lorna also informed her fans she would return to work in the coming week.
