Eastleigh: CCTV Footage Emerges Showing Moment Man was Shot, Robbed KSh 3.9m

Police in Nairobi county are investigating an incident where armed robbers shot a 26-year-old man in Eastleigh on Saturday, March 30.

What happened to the Eastleigh man after being robbed

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage has now surfaced, showing the daring daylight robbery, in which Adan Ali Mohamed was injured.

The trending video captured two assailants on a motorbike intercepting the businessman, who was also on a motorbike heading to deposit money at a local bank.

In the video, another boda boda rider intercepted him along Muratina Street, where one perpetrator alighted and shot Adan.

The robber immediately grabbed the KSh 3.97 million, wrapped in green paper, and fled the scene, leaving Adan wounded and robbed.

Well-wishers rushed the businessman to the nearest hospital for treatment

How a man died at an electronic shop in Mwingi

In another robbery incident, a middle-aged man was found dead in an electronics shop in Mwingi Town.

The man is believed to have fallen from the roof to his death while breaking into the electronics shop.

A report by TV47 indicated that Mulinge Kituo, the owner of the shop, opened his business as usual and was welcomed by the man’s lifeless body.

The shop’s CCTV footage revealed the man carefully cut through the roof and wooden ceiling before having a clear path into the establishment.

However, the man suddenly slipped and landed head-first on the floor but did not die immediately from the fall.

The footage captured him coughing heavily for around ten minutes before he passed on at around 11:40 pm.

Kituo alerted the police at Mwingi Police Station, where the body of the unidentified man was taken to Mwingi Level 4 Hospital mortuary ahead of an autopsy examination.
