Autopsy Reveals Kisii Blogger, Duke Nyabaro, was Murdered
The findings from the autopsy of Duke Nyabaro, a blogger from Kisii, indicate that he was manually choked to death.
As per the autopsy carried out at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, the pathologists reported that the blogger’s demise was attributed to insufficient oxygen reaching his brain, resulting from strangulation.
The findings presented to the family on Monday solidified their conviction that the blogger, who also serves as a teacher in Migori County, was killed.
Furthermore, Charles Onchonke, the Member of Parliament representing Bonchari, accompanied the family and verified the receipt of the results, urging the police to initiate investigations into the matter.
Nyabaro’s remains were discovered hanging from the facade of a kiosk early Sunday in Kisii, with a rope tied around his neck, indicating a potential instance of self-inflicted death.
However, the residents and family expressed concern about the death, asserting that the structure of the kiosk was insufficient to support the weight of the man’s body.
Additional inquiries arose when the teacher’s corpse was discovered dry even though heavy rainfall had battered the town throughout the night.

Nyabaro disappeared on Saturday evening following a night spent socializing with his friends at a local entertainment venue in Suneka.
It is reported that he departed and relocated to another entertainment establishment in Kisii along with his friends, who have subsequently provided statements to the police.
Charles Kases, the County Commander of Kisii, has verified the commencement of an investigation into the enigmatic demise.
The recent death of the blogger is one of several instances observed in the country, prompting concerns about the potential targeting of individuals in this profession.
Peris Mugera, a blogger hailing from Tharaka Nithi, was discovered deceased on March 8th, with her remains being discarded in Kirinyaga following her disappearance for a week.
Her demise occurred several months subsequent to her employer being discovered deceased in his vehicle, where authorities determined he had inflicted a gunshot wound upon himself, ruling it a suicide.
