All About President Ruto’s Sh8.7m Rose Gold Bvlgari Watch
Kenyan President William Ruto’s selection of accessories has captured the attention of watch enthusiasts and connoisseurs of luxury brands.
Apart from sporting his Sh428,000 ‘SR’ gold buckle crocodile skin belt, he was observed donning an 18-karat watch worth Sh8.7 million while visiting Makutano Town in Meru County over the weekend.
The President seized the chance to initiate the groundwork for the progress of his struggling initiative in affordable housing by laying foundation stones.
President Ruto was seen wearing a maroon full-sleeve Kaunda suit, complemented by an Octo Finissimo Watch from the prestigious luxury brand Bvlgari, valued at Sh8,746,200.
Bvlgari describes the watch as “A true icon of the 21st century, the Octo Finissimo Automatic watch channels a rare fusion of edgy Italian design and Swiss engineering, housing the thinnest automatic movement in the world – only 2.23 mm thick.”
The single-color timepiece is a sleek 18-karat rose gold watch featuring a dial in a polished brown lacquer finish.
It includes a mechanical manufacturing mechanism with automatic winding, adorned with cotes de Genève, anglage, and a perlage finish.
