This occurs less than two hours after Mandago denied rumors that he was fleeing from police.
He stated that he is accessible to be summoned by the DCI.
“Rumors are circulating throughout Eldoret that DCI Officers have been searching for me all night. “As a law-abiding citizen, I will be present when summoned,” he said.
He added that he had also met with the offended parents and that they had reached an agreement on the next steps.
“I have met with the leadership of parents and we have agreed on the next steps outlined in their press release issued last night,”
Wednesday, the Director of Public Prosecutions issued an arrest warrant for Mandago and three other individuals in connection with the Finland and Canada Overseas Education Programme.
A court in Nakuru has also issued arrest warrants for the senator and three others on charges of abuse of office and misappropriation of funds.
