Chilling Tale of an Evil Scam: My Life Destroyed by False Rape Accusation
The town of Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, was rocked to its core by a single incident that dominated the national news agenda.
Eleanor Williams, now 22 years old, claims four men raped, assaulted, and trafficked her for sexual exploitation when she was 12 years old.
She posted images of her injuries, which revealed that her face and much of her body were severely bruised and battered and that a portion of her finger was severed.
However, there was an issue. None of the claims were true.
Williams had woven a complex web of lies using multiple fake social media accounts and had even launched attacks against herself.

She was sentenced to eight years in prison for eight counts of perverting the course of justice this week.
For the men, she accused, however, the wounds are severe.
Chilling Tale of an Evil Scam: My Life Destroyed by False Rape Accusation. One victim, 22-year-old father Jordan Trengove, attempted suicide as a result of locals believing Williams’ lies.
His residence was sprayed with the word “rapist.”
Jordan told GOSSIPA-Z of his ordeal just hours after she was sentenced: “She received so much support and there was so much sorrow.
“I desired to escape from it all.
“I overdosed, but I survived.
“There are still believers on her side today.
This annihilated us all.
Many residents of the town continue to believe that Williams told the truth.
The Justice For Ellie Facebook group received over a hundred likes last night for a post supporting Williams.
Cameron Bibby was the first man she targeted in 2017.
She then made false allegations of rape, violence, and sex trafficking against Mohammed Ramzan, a local businessman.
Oliver Gardner, who also considered suicide, was the second victim she preyed upon.

In May 2020, Williams was so desperate to prove she had been attacked that she severed a portion of her finger, struck her eye with a hammer, and bruised the majority of her body.
But her lies began to unravel with the assistance of Mohammed, who went to great lengths to demonstrate his innocence.
The 43-year-old assembled a 10-foot-long “crime board” containing social media posts, phone messages, and bank account transactions that proved his accuser’s claims that she was forced to work in a brothel in the Netherlands were false.
Williams alleged that Cameron forced her to engage in sexual activity when she was 16 at a house party in Barrow.
She created a Snapchat account under his name and sent a fabricated confession.
He was arrested and held on bail for six months before the charges were dropped.
In March 2019, her next victim was Jordan, whom she had briefly met at a local nightclub.
She claimed that night he drugged and raped her.

After leaving the venue, they went their separate ways; however, he was charged.
Jordan demonstrated that he went to a friend’s house and was arrested for an “altercation” at the taxi stand when he was supposed to be with Williams.
He says, “I likely had the strongest alibi.
However, the police continued to argue with me.
In May 2019, when Williams filed a second complaint against him, he was arrested.
He was detained for ten weeks in a wing for sexual offenders.
Two months later, the police stopped Mohammed and informed him he was being arrested on suspicion of sex trafficking.
Since she was 12 years old, Williams claimed, a local businessman with a restaurant and an ice cream truck had groomed her by giving her near-fatal beatings.

He was never accused of a crime, but he spent every day proving his innocence.
Mohammed recalls, “I believed I was being stopped for speeding, but I was handcuffed.”
Williams claimed Mohammed had auctioned her off in Amsterdam, but Mohammed was able to prove he was in a B&Q in Barrow on that date.
Mohammed says, “I had a 10-foot crime wall with Blu-Tack holding up her social media posts and my actions.”
Daily, I called the police with new evidence.
Her accounts of being forced to have sex with men in Ibiza, Holland, and Blackpool echoed BBC Rochdale grooming scandal drama Three Girls, Liam Neeson’s blockbuster action film Taken, and Ben Affleck’s thriller Gone Girl.
Williams gave detectives the names of approximately sixty girls she claimed were victims of Mohammed’s trafficking, but none of them confirmed her allegations.
Chilling Tale of an Evil Scam: My Life Destroyed by False Rape Accusation. On July 18, 2019, her final victim was Oliver Gardner, who gave her a cigarette during a night out in Preston, Lancs.
She accused him of rape and drug sales on behalf of a grooming ring.
Oliver’s mental health was so compromised by her lies that he was institutionalized.
As more of her assertions were refuted and contested, her lies eventually caught up with her.
However, after being charged, Williams claimed in a 1,300-word Facebook post that she was assaulted by Asian sex traffickers.
To convince the public of this lie, she purchased a hammer and repeatedly struck herself.

Three days after the post was shared 100,000 times, far-right Patriotic Alternative thugs descended on Barrow to protest.
Mohammed, who received hundreds of death threats and is now attempting to rebuild his business, claims that there are still extreme racists present.
He says that Patriot Alternative now has a stronghold.
The group, which demanded that non-white people be paid to leave the United Kingdom, disregarded the fact that three of the men accused by Williams were white.
In Barrow, the number of hate crimes tripled, the windows of Asian businesses were smashed, and death threats were taken seriously.
Protest marches were organized against a suspected police cover-up.
The fire department installed smoke detectors in vulnerable buildings out of concern for arson attacks.
“Poor rather than insane”
Police officers and social workers were accused of covering up a crime and were subjected to online abuse and threats.
The local newspaper was boycotted before its demise for financial reasons.
Far-Right extremists have taken advantage of the hopelessness in Barrow, where 12 people died from drug abuse last year, one in ten adults is unemployed, and one in five children lives in poverty.
Mass unemployment at the close of the 20th century precipitated a decline, and today a large portion of the former industrial town’s downtown has an air of abandonment.
Allison Johnston, Williams’s mother and a councilor in Barrow, has claimed that her daughter was a “victim of abuse and human trafficking” and has contributed negatively to the current climate in the town.
More than £20,000 has been donated to a Justice For Ellie campaign as a result of the ire of those who have been duped by Williams.
One man, who wished to remain anonymous, says, “It’s shocking.
“I contributed funds.
“I observed the wounds. Why couldn’t I believe her?”
Everyone is attempting to answer the question of why Williams did it.
Jordan says, “I have no idea why Eleanor singled me out.
This is something I am eager to learn.

Mohammed, who was acquainted with the Williams family, believes he was targeted because of his business and people’s longstanding bias against the Asian community.
Williams was evaluated by psychiatrists, who concluded that she did not suffer from a mental disorder.
Mohammed says, “I believe she is wicked rather than deranged.”
In court, Judge Robert Altham stated that he was given “no explanation” as to why Williams attempted to lock up the four men and that she displayed “no significant sign of remorse.”
He added that there was also the possibility that “genuine victims” of sexual offenses would not come forward due to her actions.
The judge stated regarding Mohammed, “He has not been able to sleep and still fears for his safety.”
“His businesses went bankrupt.
“He describes how he went from being a successful businessman to having almost nothing.”
Mohammed and Jordan concur that social media behemoths have much to answer for.
Williams was able to create fake accounts in the names of the individuals she accused of attacking her.
Jordan says, “Social media platforms should require ID verification because she created so many fake accounts.”
Even after her conviction, many locals continue to post messages claiming Williams’ innocence.
Because her vicious lies have infected the community, Jordan no longer wishes to remain.
He tells his partner, “I want to move out of the area in preparation for Ellie’s release.”
