The 36-year-old and his 34-year-old brother Tristan have been languishing in a Romanian prison since their arrest on December 29 during an investigation into allegations of human trafficking and rape.

The decision is appealable within 48 hours.

This comes after a judge rejected Tate’s most recent appeal against his arrests and sentenced him to another 30 days in jail last month.

The brothers had previously lost two appeals against previous 30-day extensions that kept them incarcerated while investigations continued.
