3 Students Arrested In Kabarak University Murder Case
Three students were arrested on Friday in connection with the killing of a Kabarak University nursing student.
Police investigations suggest that Derrick Malumasa Sabuni, 23, may not have been murdered at the location where his body was discovered on Friday morning.
Sabuni, a third-year student, was found with stab wounds in the stomach along the Nakuru-Mogotio road near Kampi Ya Moto trading center.
Upon revisiting the scene, detectives determined that the victim might have been stabbed elsewhere, and the body was subsequently moved to the secondary scene, as there were no bloodstains or signs of a struggle at the initial location.

They are set to be arraigned on Monday, January 29, for custodial orders to finalize the investigations.
Colleagues of the victim at the university reported finding him on the road, and transporting him to the Kabarak University health centre where he was pronounced dead.
The motive for the murder remains unknown, and the area where the incident occurred is frequented by university students.
The body has been moved to Nakuru Municipal Annex Mortuary for postmortem examination and further investigations.
Fellow students are urging security agencies to ensure justice for the deceased and enhance operations in the area to curb such incidents.
