Austrian Cellar Arrest
CELLAR RESEARCH A conspiracy theorist, 54, was arrested after British children were rescued from an Austrian cellar ‘they’d lived in for 9 months.’
A MAN arrested after six children were rescued from a cellar in a remote Austrian village has been photographed for the first time.
Tom Landon, a conspiracy theorist, and alleged Holocaust denier was apprehended by police in the Austrian village of Orbitz after allegedly attacking social workers with pepper spray.
A woman and six children, as well as several guns, were discovered living in a wine cellar beneath the property.
The eight were said to have been living in the cellar for the past nine months but had previously lived in London.

Officials believe they were living in a network of tunnels beneath Obritz, a tiny village 60 miles north of Austria’s capital Vienna, near the Czech Republic border.
It is believed that he “wanted a cellar for each child,” according to Obritz’s deputy mayor Erich Greil.
According to Austrian officials, the 54-year-old was working in IT in London until recently.
Cops are attempting to track down information on the children, none of whom were registered in Austria.
Neighbors who claimed to have heard children’s voices coming from the building, which had several CCTV cameras, alerted government officials.
When anyone approached the building, however, it fell silent.
Cops were called after Landon allegedly attacked two officials with pepper spray during a routine inspection.
When they stormed the cellar, they discovered Landon barricaded inside with a 40-year-old woman and six children ranging in age from seven months to five years.
There were also several guns discovered in the cellar, which had doors and windows but was deemed unfit for human habitation.

After being questioned by authorities, both Landon and the woman were released, but all of the children living on the property were reportedly taken into their care.
He is believed to be a “doomsday prepper”, where one builds their life around preparing for a “major disaster or cataclysmic event”.
Landon was said to have self-published several books criticizing Austria’s government.
His address was given as East Finchley in north London in one of his books, Rote Sau, which means Red Sow, and was published in 2019.
Other German translations include The Judas Principle and Dirty Justice.
He told cops he planned to stay in the cellar, which he allegedly purchased through a British company, for another day or two.
Landon is listed as a director of two companies at Companies House, one of which has since been dissolved.
Greil stated to The Sunday Times: “He is not from here and has only recently arrived in Obritz.
“He had previously resided in England. I believe he worked in the IT industry.”

According to an Austrian police source: “We are collaborating with Interpol to identify children who we believe were born in the United Kingdom.
“The man and his British wife had lived in the UK and had connections there.”
Landon has ties to the Austrian branch of Germany’s far-right Reichsburger movement, which beliefs in a variety of conspiracy theories.
The right-wing extremist movement believes that the German empire pre-World War II still exists.
“The presumed Reich citizen is known to officials, was firmly convinced of bizarre conspiracy theories, and had completely ‘drifted away’ since the Ukraine war,” Austria’s Kronen Zeitung reported.
According to one local: “Of course, we recognized the suspect. He also wanted to buy our cellar last year, but no one was sure what was going on.”
Landon is also rumored to have written a musical based on Austrian rocker Falco, best known for his 1985 hit Rock Me Amadeus.
Falco was killed in a car accident in the Dominican Republic, and Landon, who was living there at the time, claimed to have discovered the body and claimed that the singer’s true cause of death was concealed.
Landon’s case has been compared to the heinous crimes of Josef Fritzl, the Austrian man who imprisoned his daughter Elisabeth in a cellar for 24 years, forcing her to bear his seven children.
However, Greil, who saw the family walking around the village two weeks earlier, believes there is no reason to believe the children were mistreated in this case.
