Viral Video: Pregnant Woman Neglected at Kiambu County Hospital
A video of a woman confronting medical professionals at the Kiambu County Referral Hospital on Wednesday, July 5, went viral after a pregnant woman went unattended for hours.
The woman in the video complained that the patient arrived at the hospital at 5:00 a.m. but was not seen until 4:00 p.m.
She lost her child as a result of the medical staff’s alleged indifference, even though she was still unattended and unattended to.
The woman also disclosed that the victim suffered from diabetes, necessitating immediate medical attention.
“As a mother, I understand her suffering. She’s been here since 5 a.m., but she’s only receiving treatment as of 4 p.m. The infant had already passed away, and she also has diabetes. “Her feet are swollen,” the woman grumbled.
Before the publication of this news article, GossipA2Z called the hospital, but the administration had not commented on the matter.
After the heated argument, hospital security guards rushed to the scene and attempted to calm down the woman.
“Do they want me to disrobe or yell outside for their attention? How much cash do you desire? “Since we arrived in the morning, there have been empty beds,” the woman lamented.

She pleaded with the doctors seated in one room to save the woman and alleviate her pain, stating, “Can’t they just save one person? Please save her life; she can have more children in the future.”
Another woman complained at the hospital that she had similarly lost her child.
The incident infuriated Kenyans, who criticized the county government for failing to adequately fund public hospitals and hire more physicians.
Others took their anger out on the hospital’s doctors for observing the woman’s suffering without offering a solution.
“A nine-month voyage. Just to lose the child due to carelessness. This is so agonizing. May God give her comfort, one sympathized.
The victim told the media that she went to the hospital for complications during her pregnancy but was neglected for hours. Later, the fetus was extracted.
“We have begun an investigation and are collecting statements to determine what occurred here. If we determine that someone is responsible for mismanagement and professional negligence, we will take stern action. “We do not want anything like this to occur,” said a hospital official.
