A woman who is believed to be a member of a gang that drugs people in popular entertainment venues in Nairobi has been charged in court for administering a stupefying substance to a trader at Club DJ along Thika Road.
On March 20, 2023, Evelyn Wambui and her accomplices drugged businessman Paul Maingo and stole over a million shillings from his bank account.
In addition to the cash, they also stole two Samsung S9 mobile phones valued at Sh50,000, a Samsung S22 valued at Sh105,000, two debit cards, and a wristwatch worth Sh150,000.

When Wambui failed to appear in court in 2020, the DCI posted her photo on social media.
She pays bail when arrested and taken to court, so she can continue terrorizing entertainment venue patrons.
