    South African Tyla’s ‘Water’ song among Barack Obama’s favorite songs of 2023

    Former US President Barack Obama has shared a list of 28 songs that were his favourite in 2023.

    Obama has made it a tradition to share his favorite songs, books, and movies in a certain period.

    “Here are some of my favorite songs from this year. Let me know if there are any artists or songs I should check out,” he said on his social media pages.

    In the Friday list of favorite songs is TOG by Karol G and Shakira, I Remember Everything by Zach Bryan ft Kacey Musgraves, Sprinter by Dave and Central Cee, Since I Have A Lover by 6lack, Cobra by Megan Thee Stallion, Joiner by Blondshell, Midnight Gospel by Ale Araya ft Joseph Chilliams, America Has A Problem by Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar and Water by Tyla.

    The Returner by Allison Russell, Unavailable by Davido ft Musa Keys, My Love Mine All Mine by Mitski, Sittin’ On Top of The World by Burna Boy ft 21 Savage, Vampire Empire Big Thief, Younger and Dumper by Indigo De Souza, Toxic Trait by Stormzy ft Fredo, Where You Are by John Summit and Hayla, and La Bebe (Remix) by Yng Lvcas and Peso Pluma.

    On Thursday, Obama posted his favorite movies of the year. The list of 14 had three of the most favorite including Rustin, Leave The World Behind, and American Symphony.

    The former President also released the list of his favorite books with the top five being The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store by James McBride; The Maniac by Benjamin Labatut; Poverty, by America by Matthew Desmond; How to Say Babylon by Safiya Sinclair, and The Wager by David Grann. 

    The list of favorite books was released in December 2022.
