Shock as Kidero’s Bodyguard Found Dead, Mutilated

Evans Okoda, the bodyguard of former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero, has been discovered dead in Oyugis after being reported missing several days prior.

His body was found with one hand severed, suggesting a violent attack. The exact circumstances of his death remain uncertain, but initial reports suggest he was tortured and murdered before his body was dumped in Oyugis.

Okoda was well-known for his security work in clubs and public events, providing protective services to prominent individuals, including Kidero.

Commenting on the tragedy, Kidero confirmed that Okoda had been part of his security team during the 2022 general elections and urged authorities to thoroughly investigate the crime and hold those responsible accountable.

Kidero emphasized the severity of the incident, describing Okoda’s death as brutal and its impact on the local community as significant.

The gruesome nature of the killing has heightened concerns about safety in the area, underscoring the urgent need for enhanced security measures.

Kidero stated that Okoda’s death was a tragedy, and the circumstances surrounding it require immediate action from security services to conduct a thorough investigation. This would be critical in ensuring justice for Okoda and restoring a sense of safety to the community.

Meanwhile, investigative teams have begun examining the case, seeking to gather evidence that could lead to the apprehension of those responsible for the heinous crime.

The shocking nature of the murder has left Oyugis residents disturbed, and the community is eagerly awaiting developments in the investigation and the potential arrest of the perpetrators.
