Senior Police Officer Dies In Accident On Narok-Bomet Road
On Monday morning, tragedy struck on the Narok-Bomet road as Deputy Base Commander Calvins Ochieng Onganda lost his life in a devastating head-on collision.
Reports from the police indicate that Commander Onganda was traveling from Bomet when his sedan collided head-on with a lorry while attempting to overtake another vehicle.
The collision was so severe that both vehicles veered off the road, landing on the right side as one headed towards Bomet.Â

The impact inflicted grave injuries on Commander Onganda, particularly to his legs and chest, ultimately resulting in his untimely demise at the scene of the accident.
Following the incident, Commander Onganda’s body was swiftly transported to Longisa County Referral Hospital, where it awaits an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
Meanwhile, the vehicles involved were towed to Ololulunga Police Station for a thorough examination.
