Sad! Kabarak University student stabbed to death
Detectives are looking into a case where a nursing student at Kabarak University in Nakuru was discovered deceased on the road early Friday morning.
Derrick Malumasa Sabuni, a 23-year-old third-year student, was discovered with stab injuries near the Kampi Ya Moto trading center along the Nakuru-Mogotio road, as reported by the police.
His university associates informed the authorities that they discovered him on the street, assisted in getting him, and swiftly took him to the Kabarak University health facility, where he was declared deceased.
The police reported that the individual who passed away had suffered a severe stab injury to the abdomen, caused by an unidentified assailant or assailant.
Investigators believe that the individual was fatally stabbed in the late hours of the night during a robbery attempt. The possessions of the victim were not found at the location.
Law enforcement officials went to both the hospital and the location of the incident as part of their investigation into the homicide.
The motive of the murder is yet to be known.
The corpse was transferred to Nakuru Municipal Annex Mortuary, where it will undergo a postmortem examination and additional investigations.
No arrest has been made so far.

Investigators planned to revisit the crime scene on Friday as a crucial step in their investigation into the homicide.
In another part of Transmara South, law enforcement authorities detained a suspect again in connection with the murder of a 45-year-old woman in Kilae sublocation, Moyoi location, Narok.
He was initially arrested by members of the public who tied him with a rope.
Law enforcement discovered the woman’s lifeless body sprawled in a puddle of blood, bearing numerous severe lacerations to the head, a deep incision on the right hand near the elbow, a wound on the abdomen, and a profound cut on the right leg.
According to the police, items found at the suspect’s residence include blood-stained gumboots, a slasher, and a crowbar.
The woman’s remains are currently located at Lolgorian Level IV Hospital, awaiting examination, while the individual believed to be responsible is under police custody, awaiting formal charges.
