President Ruto’s government has faced criticism due to frequent travels abroad, notably with Ruto himself undertaking more than 48 international trips since assuming office.

However, the leader justified the journeys by emphasizing their importance in boosting the nation’s economy.

As per Ruto, the tours aim to establish multi-million investment deals and create job prospects for the people of Kenya.

In the previous month, Ruto mentioned his intention to reduce the Executive’s travel expenses by Ksh500 million. Instead, these funds would be allocated to build a manufacturing facility aimed at creating assistive tools for students with disabilities.
