    Ruto Cabinet Secretaries Ranked in Latest Infotrak Report (LIST)

    With President William Ruto marking one year in office on Wednesday, 11 of his Cabinet Secretaries managed to get an ‘average’ score performance of C.

    In a survey released by Infotrak on Tuesday, only 11 CSs led by Interior boss Kithure Kindiki managed to get 50 percent and above.

    This is despite the CSs being in office for almost 10 months since they took the oath of office in October 2022.

    Kindiki was ranked the best with 59 percent, followed by the Education boss at 55 percent.

    Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen, Mithika Linturi ( Agriculture), and Health CS Susan Nakhumicha got 53 percent. Defence CS Aden Duale and his sports Counterpart Ababbu Namwamba recorded 52 percent.

    Others are ICT CS Eliud Owalo who was given 51 percent, Alfred Mutua (Foreign Affairs) Penina Malonza (Tourism), and Alice Wahome (Water and Sanitation) scored 50 percent each.

    CSs who scored below 50 percent include Soipan Tuya (Environment) at 49 percent. The quartet of Salim Mvurya ( Mining ) Aish Jumwa (Gender) Moses Kuria (Trade) and Zachary Njeru (Lands) all scored 47 percent.

    Rebecca Miano ( Eastern Africa Community), Simon Chelugui (Co-operatives and MSMEs) Njuguna Ndung’u (Finance), and Florence Bore ( Labour) managed a score of 46.

    Davis Chirchir on the other hand, scooped 45 percent.

    According to the poll, 4,000 respondents were interviewed on September 10, 2023. The sample was spread across 47 counties in eight regions.

    The interviews were conducted through computer-assisted telephone interviews.

    There was a positive and negative 1.55 percent margin of error.
