Rigathi Gachagua: East Pokot Residents Excluded from Government Representation

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua exposed Tiaty MP William Kamket’s affair with Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga.

Gachagua explained that the people of East Pokot missed out on the government cake for the reasons stated above.

He stated that other projects in the region will proceed as planned, but government positions for local leaders will be a pipe dream.

The Vice President of Kenya Kwanza, Rigathi Gachagua, disclosed that East Pokot residents have no stake in the government.

Gachagua criticized William Kamket for his relationship with the leader of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party.

Gachagua: East Pokot has no share The second in command explained that Kamket led the East Pokot people in the wrong direction, so they did not receive any government positions.

“Because he is my friend, I informed Samuel Moroto (MP Kapenguria) that your shares are at 60%. I empathize with my friend Kamket when he discusses East Pokot; how can I assist you, my friend? Without your shares, there is nothing. I would like to assist, but where do I begin? You are my friend, but you have disappointed the people of East Pokot by transporting them to Azimio, said Gachagua.

The principal assistant to the president spoke at an interdenominational church service in West Pokot County’s Makutano Stadium.

Gachagua stated that despite East Pokot’s affiliation with Azimio la Umoja, a portion of the government will not materialize.

“In the William Ruto administration, you have nothing. “Road and school projects will commence, but we will need to investigate the matter of shares,” he said.

A portion of the government for West Pokot Gachagua paraded West Pokot county leaders who have secured lucrative positions in the William Ruto administration and stated that his boss had chosen them to advance his agenda.

“The President has sought out leaders in this area to assist him in leading the nation. “He has chosen you, people, for your courage,” he asserted.

Former West Pokot governor John Lonyangapuo (chairman of the North Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency), John Arumunyang (PS Public Works), Mark Lamkolool (CAS Education), Lilian Tomtom (CAS Trade), Simon Kalekem (Director NTSA), Peter Lokachapol (Chairman of Regional Authorities), and Kenneth Lomaimpol (Kenya Dairy Board) were on the list.

Raila criticizes Gachagua over the government’s shareholding Raila Odinga, the leader of the opposition, criticized Gachagua for his remarks comparing the government to a business.

During the funeral of Makau Mutua’s brother, Raila stated that all Kenyans should pay taxes and receive equal treatment from the government.

“Na mwingine ambaye inasemekana ni naibu wa rais anaongea kama mwendazimu. Ati sisi tuko na shares. Kama wewe haukuwa na sisi utakuwa kando kwanza, wale ambao walitupigia kura ndio watakaa huko mbele,” said Raila.

The veteran politician went on to say that it was unfortunate that all Kenyans pay taxes, but they face discrimination when it comes to employment.
