Raila to Speak at Kibra Rally on Friday
The Azimio la Umoja coalition has announced that they will hold a public baraza on Friday at the Kamukunji grounds as a grand welcome for their leader, Raila Odinga, who has returned from a short stay abroad. The baraza will be open to the public.
According to a statement that was released on Wednesday by the leader of the minority group, Opiyo Wandayi, Odinga will be greeted at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), and then he will be led to the rally grounds, where he is anticipated to speak to his supporters.

“The Kibra People’s Baraza will also set the stage for the peaceful mass action that is set to resume in Nairobi on May 2nd, 2023, as was earlier announced,” said MP Wandayi. “The Kibra People’s Baraza will also set the stage for the Kibra People’s Baraza.”
In addition to this, he has exhorted the people who support them to show up in large numbers. And “maintain peace and order as we have done in the past.”
