“Raila Might Dump You Because of Your Poor Leadership” — MP Dares Ruto
Saboti Member of Parliament (MP) Caleb Amisi has sent a strong warning to President William Ruto, saying the president’s actions could push away ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Speaking on Friday, March 28, during the opening of a new 12-classroom block at Tuwan Primary School, Amisi criticised President Ruto’s leadership style. He said many MPs are afraid to tell Ruto the truth about the problems facing Kenyans.
The outspoken lawmaker made it clear that telling the president the truth does not mean disrespect. He said leaders must speak up when the country is headed in the wrong direction.
“Today, most MPs have become cowards. When they see William Ruto, they bow their heads. Criticising the president does not mean we hate or disrespect him. If the president is wrong, we should tell him the truth,” Amisi said.

Amisi also warned that Raila Odinga, who is currently working with Ruto, may abandon him if the country continues on the wrong path.
“If President Ruto continues to lead the government in the wrong way, even Baba (Raila Odinga) might leave him,” he added.
Amisi Blames Kenya Kwanza Over Deaths in Haiti
MP Amisi also spoke about the death of Kenyan police officers in Haiti. He blamed the government, saying it is wrong to send Kenyan officers to dangerous missions without enough security.
Recently, a Kenyan police officer was killed in Haiti after being attacked by armed gangs. Amisi said Kenyans are not being told the full truth about what is happening in Haiti.
“Our police officers are dying in Haiti, but no one is telling Kenyans the real story. We cannot send our people to die in other countries without protecting them,” Amisi said.
The lawmaker asked President Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza government to ensure the safety of all Kenyan police officers who are part of the peacekeeping mission in Haiti.
