Raila knows we just use him to get positions: Elachi
Beatrice Elachi, member of parliament for Dagoretti North, has asserted that many leaders are never sincere about Raila Odinga becoming president.
Elachi stated that even after losing an election, they are aware that Raila will fight for a short time and then give up.
Thursday, the representative spoke during an interview with K24.
“Baba is conscious that we play jokes on him, and he is aware that we are typically not serious about him becoming president. We only use him to obtain our positions, and then we’re done,” she said.
“At the moment, he is engaged in conversation, and that’s that; we’re done.”
Elachi: Raila will forever be responsible for supporting Uhuru.
Beatrice Elachi, a representative for Dagoretti North, has stated that Raila Odinga will eternally bear the responsibility of supporting former President Uhuru Kenyatta during his final term.
In response to US Ambassador Meg Whitman’s assertion that the August 2022 elections were the most credible in the country’s history, Elachi stated that such statements are made because they are aware that Raila “was in government.”
She stated that the former prime minister had the support of the state and that it was his election to lose.
“Baba (Raila Odinga) will eternally bear the responsibility of supporting former President Uhuru Kenyatta during his final days in office. Every option was available. Even if we claim we were not rigged, the entire world knows we were in government,” said Elachi.
She added that Azimio ought to concentrate on the upcoming elections.
“The government is already planning for 2027, and Azimio should do the same,” she said.
