    PSC’s Latest Move: Shortlisting Candidates for 700 Govt Jobs; Here’s How to Verify Your Status

    PSC’s Latest Move: Shortlisting Candidates for 700 Govt Jobs; Here’s How to Verify Your Status

    On Thursday, June 15, the Public Service Commission (PSC) released a list of candidates shortlisted to fill 700 positions in the National Treasury and State Department of Correctional Services.

    In a statement, the PSC indicated that applicants could conduct the verification by visiting the website and logging in to the recruitment portal.

    “This is to inform you that the Commission has shortlisted candidates for the Probation Officer II (CSG 11) V. No. 1/2022 vacancies advertised on 5th April 2022 and has begun conducting interviews.

    “If you applied for the position, kindly check your portal for updates and interview dates,” the PSC advised.

    The Public Service Commission (PSC) announced 700 job openings in its most recent job advertisement on April 2.

    PSC specifically requested applications for the positions of Probation Officer II for the State Department For Correctional Services and Supply Chain Management Officer II for The National Treasury.

    There are 400 open positions for Probation Officer II and 300 open positions for Supply Chain Management Officer II.

    Interested and qualified applicants were required to submit their applications online by 5 p.m. on April 25, 2023.

    How to Examine

    How to check shortlisted candidates on the Public Service Commission (PSC) website:

    1. Go to the PSC website: www.publicservice.go.ke.

    2. Click on Jobs on the top navigation bar.

    3. Under Jobs, click on Shortlisted Candidates.

    4. A list of all the shortlisted candidates for the current recruitment exercise will be displayed.

    5. You can search for your name or other identifying information to see if you were shortlisted.

    Please note that PSC may update the list of shortlisted candidates at any time, so it is important to check back frequently.

    Here are some additional tips for checking your shortlisted status:

    1. Make sure you are using the correct username and password when logging into the PSC portal.

    2. If you have forgotten your username or password, you can reset it by clicking on the Forgot your username or password? link on the login page.

    3. If you are still having trouble checking your shortlisted status, you can contact the PSC Customer Care Center at +254 20 271 3000.
