Prioritize and Respect Mothers Over Wives, says Nyakach Assistant Commissioner
Assistant commissioner of Nyakach sub-county Dawin Orina discouraged married Kenyan men from forgetting about their mothers.
He observed that married men tend to pay more attention to their wives than to the mothers who raised them well.
Orina asserted that married women should provide for their husbands and children, and in exchange, they will receive adequate care.
A Kisumu County administrator advised men to prioritize their mothers over their wives.
True men do not parade their wives. Orina emphasized that mothers deserve the highest regard for giving birth to and raising healthy sons.
According to Orina, a wife’s primary responsibility is to provide for her husband and children.
In an interview with GossipA2Z, he added that real men do not need to flaunt their wives on social media, but rather should demonstrate their love and devotion by supporting and guiding their partners.

“A wife should take precedence because she will look after you and your children. Let’s always demonstrate respect for them.” He added, “True men do not promote their wives on social media, but instead demonstrate their love by constantly caring for and guiding them.”
Prevent men from cheating
However, Orina advised men not to cheat on their spouses.
On December 10, 2022, GossipA2Z reported that Orina compared having a mango wa kando (secret lover) to operating a government vehicle.
“Having extramarital affairs is comparable to operating a police car. The vehicle is yours to use during the day, but you must return it to the police station at night.
Orina added, “You will date someone’s spouse and spend the day with them, but at night they will have to return to their respective homes.”
Recompense for Raila Odinga
Recently, Orina vowed to assist a young man from Kitale who hoped to marry Raila Odinga’s daughter, Winnie.
Supposedly, Kefa Oyaro walked six days from Kitale to Nyakach sub-county to meet with Orina, who promised to contribute to his dowry if Winnie Odinga accepted his proposal.
Kefa had offered 20 cows and 50 goats as dowry to Winnie’s father, Raila Odinga, should the EALA legislator accept his marriage proposal.
