President William Ruto’s Return from US State Visit
President William Ruto returned on Saturday, May 25, evening following a 4-day official trip to the United States of America (USA).
Upon landing at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Ruto was welcomed by Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki and Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo.
Arriving in his privately chartered Boeing 737-700, the same aircraft he utilized during his journey to the USA, stirred controversy over its considerable hourly cost, estimated at Ksh2.4 million borne by taxpayers.
Accompanied by his delegation, which included Defence CS Aden Duale and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah, Ruto expressed his pleasure at being back home on his social media platform.
