President Ruto reiterated his dedication to forming a government that meets the expectations and needs of Kenyans.
“I committed to deeply reflecting on the issues highlighted by the people of Kenya, engaging in extensive consultations on the future direction, and developing a broad-based Government that will leverage our country’s vast potential to drive economic transformation and inclusive growth,” Ruto stated.
He continued, “I am initiating the creation of a new, inclusive cabinet to help propel the essential and irreversible transformation of our nation. I am nominating this first group of 11 individuals for consideration and approval by the National Assembly for roles as Cabinet Secretaries and Attorney General.”
These nominees will need to pass vetting and approval by the National Assembly before officially assuming their roles.
The Cabinet reshuffle follows Ruto’s recent dissolution of his previous Cabinet, with a promise to focus on public needs in his new strategy.
