Italy and Kenya have collaborated on various initiatives spanning diverse sectors, such as environmental preservation and the enhancement of resilience to climate change.
Italy has been providing financial assistance to Kenya for the development of the Aror and Kimwarer dams, as well as backing various education, health, energy, and cultural projects.
Ruto plans to utilize his time in Europe to interact with officials from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The primary backers of Ruto’s development initiatives have been these two organizations.
