Police, NTSA Hunt Van Caught Endangering Students in Viral Video
Police and the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) have launched a manhunt for a van captured on video driving dangerously while ferrying students to an unknown destination.
The vehicle, a white van with registration number KDG 056B, was seen driving at high speeds with students hanging precariously.
Kenyans have condemned the driver of the vehicle for risking the lives of innocent souls.

The video, which has since gone viral, shows the driver operating the vehicle dangerously, with school girls seen hanging out while dressed in school uniforms, and others dangling their legs outside the window.
The driver is seen engaging in a conversation with passengers, one of whom is also dangerously hanging out of the moving vehicle.
Initial investigations from NTSA reveal that the vehicle is registered as a commercial matatu, with its inspection due to expire on April 17, 2025.
However, it is not affiliated with any known SACCO. Further investigation uncovered that the vehicle is operated by AD Genius Limited under a road service license (RSL).
The NTSA and the National Police Service (NPS) are actively searching for the vehicle owner, with both the driver and the passenger now wanted for violating traffic laws.
Authorities urge motorists to exercise caution, especially with schools reopening this week.
