Partner’s Heartbreaking Statement on Nicola Bulley’s Disappearance
Nicola Bulley’s partner Paul Ansell is pleading for answers in the woman’s disappearance and said that her daughters ‘miss mummy desperately’. On January 27, Nicola went missing.
As the search for Nicola Bulley continues, her partner is pleading for answers.
The 45-year-old went missing on January 27 in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire, and police have been looking for her ever since.
Nicola had dropped off her two daughters, ages six and nine, at school before going on her usual dog walk along the river.
Her phone, which was still connected to a Teams call for her job as a mortgage adviser, was discovered on a bench on a steep riverbank overlooking the water, alongside the dog lead and the dog harness.
Officers believe Nicola fell into the river, but because there is no evidence to back up this theory, they are remaining open-minded.

Specialist Group International (SGI) search team led by forensic search specialist Peter Faulding joined the police today.
Nicola’s partner Paul Ansell said in a new statement released today by Lancashire Police that everyone wants to know what happened to her.
He also stated that Nicola’s daughters “desperately miss their mummy” and have been going through a “tough time” since her disappearance.
Mr. Ansell stated: “It’s been ten days since Nicola went missing, and I have two little girls who desperately miss their mother and want her back.
“This has been a difficult time not only for the girls, but also for me and all of Nicola’s family and friends, as well as the wider community, and I am grateful for their love and support.
“We are also grateful to Peter and his team from SGI for coming up and assisting Lancashire Police with their ongoing investigation.
“If anyone has any information that could help us find Nicola, I urge them to contact the police and assist us in providing the answers we all so desperately need.”
In an interview with Sky News, Mr. Ansell stated: “We must find her alive and well. I can’t put those girls to bed without answers tonight.”
It comes after police released CCTV images of Nicola on her Ring Doorbell before her disappearance.
According to Lancashire Police: “Nicola was last seen at around 9.20 a.m. on Friday (January 27th) on the upper field by the river off Garstang Road, where she had gone for a walk with her Spaniel Willow after dropping her children off at school in the village.

“Our CCTV investigations have focused on Nicola’s movements and whether she could have left the fields near the river via Allotment Lane, the river path leading to Garstang Road, or Rowanwater at the upper field’s top.
“The majority of our sightings of Nicola have come from witnesses who knew her, allowing us to trace her movements from the school to the river path and into the field.
“By reviewing CCTV, we can confidently state that Nicola did not leave the field during the key times via Rowanwater, either through the site itself or the piece of land to the side.
“We can also say that she did not return to Garstang Road from the fields along Allotment Lane or the path at the back of the Grapes pub.
“Our inquiries now focus on the river path which leads from the fields back to Garstang Road – for that, we need drivers and cyclists who traveled that way on the morning of January 27 to make contact. We’ve already done a lot of work on this, but every piece of footage helps us piece together a picture of what happened that morning.”
“The team working on this investigation is completely dedicated and determined to find Nicola,” said Detective Supt Rebecca Smith.
“As a mother, I can’t even imagine what her two children are going through.

“Please be reassured that our sole focus is Nicola and that we are doing everything we can to find her.
“It is not possible to provide every piece of information to the public because to do so would detract from the investigation, but I’d like to thank everyone who has assisted us so far and for the support provided to Nicola’s family at this extremely difficult time.
“They are constantly supported and updated. I’d like to ask anyone who was driving/cycling through St Michael’s last Friday morning and has dashcam footage to contact us if they haven’t already.
“I would also ask in fisherman who may have been in the area at the time to make contact if you feel you can assist.
“I would also like to reiterate my appeal to anyone who has any other footage – CCTV or Ring Doorbell, for example – or any other information, no matter how insignificant you may believe it is, to contact us as every small piece can help us build a picture.”
